Dr. Mike Norris, President

Dr. Mike Norris is the Pastor of the Franklin Road Baptist Church and the president of the Franklin Road Christian School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Pastor Norris became the Senior Pastor in the year 2000. Pastor Norris has been married to his high school sweetheart, Mila (pronounced “My-la”), for thirty-four years. They have one son, Joel, who is married to his high school sweetheart, Lauren. Joel and Lauren now serve on staff at Franklin Road with their first son, Braxton. Pastor Norris is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College in Beckley, West Virginia, and received his Master of Arts from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, Louisiana. He has also received honorary doctorates from Midwestern Baptist College, Northeast Baptist School of Theology, and Shawnee Baptist College. He has served at Franklin Road Baptist Church as the senior pastor and co-pastor as well as serving in his hometown at the Ripley Baptist Temple in Ripley, West Virginia, as the youth pastor and senior pastor.

 

 

 

 




 


Dr. Charles Walker, Executive Director

Dr. Charles Walker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Teaching degree from Southwestern State University and a Professional Certificate in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds Honorary Doctorates from Bob Jones University, Pensacola Christian College, and Midwestern Baptist College. Dr. Walker served as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in public schools before the Lord called him into full-time Christian Education.  Dr. Walker has served as the executive director of TACS for 34 years.













Randy Scallions, Assistant Executive Director

Randy Scallions holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Tennessee Temple University.  Randy has served as a Christian school teacher, Christian school principal, Christian school administrator, and college professor.  He presently serves as the assistant executive director of TACS.










 

 

Dr. Brian Walker, Assistant to the Executive Director

Dr. Brian Walker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Tennessee Temple Univeristy, a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the Univeristy of Tennessee Chattanooga, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Tennessee.  Dr. Walker has served as a Christian school teacher, a Christian school administrator, and a college professor.  Dr. Walker currently serves as the assistant to the executive director of TACS.
